Congrats Mr and Mrs Bryant

Saturday night my good friend from high school, Krystle Holliman, became Mrs. Bryant. It was a beautiful wedding and I was so glad that Dan and I had wonderful babysitters(Thanks Moma D and Popa Jim) so we could attend. It was also like a small class reunion for me as well, we even made our on table at the reception, "Class of 2000" and spouses! lol We always have a good time when we all get back together! Congrats Krystle and Russell!!

Now this next picture would of been a very good picture in my opinion of Dan and me, but leave it up to him to be goofy at times and not make that happen. In case you are wondering, that is cake on his teeth! However, I still love him!

Quick Stroll

Since the girls and I are pretty much at home, and in the house all day because of this HOT Alabama weather, we are starting to go crazy. So this evening, it didnt seem to be as hot as normal, so Dan and I broke out the stroller and let the girls get a little fresh air. We just walked them down the driveway and back, but to them it was enough that they both fell asleep! It was only for a few minutes, but it was a fun family outing!

Aubrey was laid back in her stroller seat, I think she may of already been asleep.

Lainey was all smiles to be out of the house

Snapshots

Just a few random pictures made over the past few days

Aubrey working on her tan

Notice how they both have the same leg hiked up

Lainey Bug

This is priceless! Aubrey making a silly face!

1st Bath Tub Bath

Today the girls got to take their first official bath, meaning no more sponge baths!

Aubrey enjoying herself. She was a little unsure at first, but after a few seconds she didn't seem to mind her "spa" trip as we like to call bath time.

Lainey looks cozy during her "spa" time. This was her idea of fun.

Happy 1st Father's Day!!!

The girls wore shirts today to show their love for their Daddy. We all three love you very much Dan. I am so blessed and lucky to have you as my husband and the girls are blessed and very lucky to have you as their Daddy!

Lainey, her shirt says "Someday my prince will come, until then I have Daddy!"

Aubrey's shirt says " I love Daddy"

Proud Mommy

I will let you know, I am a PROUD MOMMY!

New Pictures

Here are a few pictures from the past few days. Things are going good, we have some what got the girls on a much better schedule, which helps with sleeping at night, granted that could change, but so far so good!

Popa Jim came from Texas for a visit. It was the first time he got to hold Aubrey and it was hard to get Lainey or Aubrey back from him while he was holding them!

Avery came to visit the girls on Saturday, here she is getting to feed Lainey

G-Diddy came Sunday after church to visit as well, it was the first time getting to hold Aubrey for him too. Aubrey and Lainey make him have a total of 6 granddaughters! We have told him girls look cute in camo too!

First Night With Both Girls

I guess in a way it was some what good we had a little experience having one baby at home with Lainey, we got prepared some for the night feedings, the crying, and of course the spoiling. However, when Aubrey came home and both babies were here the first night...LOL that was an adventure! Aubrey was pretty much on a set schedule of eating every 3 hours, Lainey however, she just made her own schedule! So that first night we may of gotten 4 hours of sleep if that. Dan and I took turns, sometimes we ended up awake at the same time feeding both girls. We have got to work on getting them on the same schedule so it might not be as crazy around here at night, but we will see how that goes!

Can you take a guess on which baby is which????

Hey Everybody....Look What I Can Do!!!!

I am a FIRM believer that prayer works, and here is my proof.---------->
48 hours ago, Aubrey was having a very hard time taking a full bottle on her own, and would have to have half if not more given to her through a feeding tube. WELL PEOPLE! The good Lord above has answered our prayer!!! Our baby girl is taking a FULL bottle now. Since her 8PM feeding on Monday night she has been taking all her bottles. She was able to have her feeding tube removed Tuesday afternoon which was a blessing, because Aubrey hated that tube and so did her mommy and daddy! Please continue to keep Aubrey in your prayers that she will be home in the next few days and THANK YOU all for the prayers you have already prayed!

Already One Week Old!

It is hard to believe that Aubrey and Lainey are already a week old!!!!

Aubrey is still in NICU, the Dr told Dan this morning the only thing keeping her in there is she has got to eat on her own. The past two days she will take about half of the bottle but then the other half they are having to give to her through a tube. It has been really tough on Dan and I to see our baby go through this, but we know that God is in control and that Aubrey just has to get in that hard head of hers( I keep telling her she is acting like her daddy) that she wants to eat. Most all of the nurses have said they see this all the time, it's like one day they dont want to eat and the next they are eating like it's their favorite thing to do. So please continue to PRAY for Aubrey and for Dan and me to be strong for her!

Lainey is doing great, she misses her sister, but knows she will be home very soon. She pretty much eats, sleeps and gets held as much as she can!

Our Sweet Angels are FINALLY HERE!

On June 1st, Dan and I had a life changing experience, we became parents! In almost a week, you learn that you are no longer the main person to care for, there is this tiny person that now requires your total love and care, and God blessed us with TWO!!! We are both so thankful for them both and now really can't imagine life without them!

Aubrey Kathryn was born at 7:16AM weighing 6 lbs 12.9 oz and 19 1/4 inches long. She to me looks just like Dan.

Lainey Ryan was born 7:18AM weighing 6 lbs 11 oz and 19 1/2 inches long. I think Lainey looks a little more like me.

I know that we will probably have to wait a few more months to see who they both really look like, but that is ok, they are beautiful and that is all that matters!

Dan, Lainey and I got to come home Friday night. Aubrey is still in NICU, she has been on a roller coaster when it comes to eating. She will do good for one day and then they will bump her intake up and it is an act of congress to get her to finish she tires out and usually falls asleep, so then they have to feed the rest through a tube. Let me tell you, it is not fun having to feed your child that way. She was able to be moved to a normal crib on Saturday afternoon, which is a step closer to getting home, she has got to eat and gain some weight back before they consider letting her come home. We finally got to hold her Saturday night as well for the first time. PLEASE PRAY that this happens soon, it was very hard on Dan and I to just bring one baby home. Yes, it has helped us some what get used to having a baby here with Lainey, but we want both home not just one.

Thank you all for the prayers through my entire pregnancy, not many people can say they carried twins 38 weeks, but I know that the good Lord above allowed that to happen. Just remember Aubrey and that she is home SOON.
