Enjoying the beautiful day

I was off work today, so I decided to clean house so I could enjoy my Saturday. While I was in the living room, I noticed Beau sitting on the foot stool that happened to be in front of the window. He just looked sooo peaceful watching the world go by! Of course when I got my camera he turned around, but it still made a cute picture of my "child"

Happy Birthday some more

In honor of Maw Maw's birthday, we went to Tuscaloosa and went to eat at O'Charley's! (It is just as good or better than what it was before the tore it down and rebuilt.) It was great spending time with her on her birthday and with Uncle Wayne, Aunt Nita and Paige. If only Mom and Jim would of been there it would of been even better! Happy Birthday Maw Maw!

Happy Birthday to one of the special ladies in my life, my grandmother. She is a wonderful christian woman, who I love very much. She is the rock of our family and thank God everyday for blessing me with her! I love you!!!

Seems sooo long ago!

It seems like it was sooooo long ago that Dan proposed, but it was a year ago today that I was working, came back from lunch and these were waiting on me...

then I got ready "thinking" we were going to Cheesecake Factory, when really we were going to...

then I thought we would be going home after dinner, but to my surprise I was getting to stay the night at ( and yes, HE even packed my sleep clothes, toothbrush and clothes to come home in)

then this is what I got

and YES, HE picked it out all by himself!!!!

I am soooooo very lucky to have Dan in my life and now as my husband! I love you honey! :)

Happy Birthday Dee!!!! We celebrated Dee's birthday saturday night with a meal at Steamer's and then a bowling trip! It was great fun, and for those that have kids, they said it was a great "break" lol. We hope you have many many more!! We love you!

Bye Bye Mailbox

Last Sunday was a sad day at the Deavours' household. As most of you know, we are a "House Divided" and since Dan has lived in our house, he has had an Auburn mailbox. Well sorry folks, but being the Die Hard Alabama fan that I am, I just couldn't handle my mail going into something that looked that way. Sooooo Dan being the sweet and wonderful husband that he is, said he would depart with the "old" mailbox and put up a neutral one. So when you pass by and notice something new at our driveway that is what it is. Dont worry, come football season ( which from today's date June 29, we have 62 days) there will be the "House Divided" Flag up so BOTH schools have the respect they deserve!!!!

Woo Hoo...Another Cake

My good friend Dee is turning 30 on Sunday. We work together and thursday we are celebrating her birthday at work (she will be off next week, LUCKY!!) Anyway, I said I would make her cake for her. I gave her 2 options, just because I didnt want to put tooo much pressure on myself. So I hope she likes it...I put 2 of her favorite colors on it, so it was just a good reason to practice some more and get my kitchen dirty again!!!
