Could we possibly have a hard headed child?!?

I do not think I have ever mentioned that Baby "B" for the longest time has been in the breached position. My Dr had said if by a certain time she hadn't turned that more than likely I would have a c-section . Well at the last ultrasound, both babies were facing head down, so that pretty much meant what I thought was good and I would end up having a so called "normal" delivery, you know the pushing, the screaming at Dan, and of course the "GOOD DRUGS". Well, that little precious daughter of ours, HAS TURNED BACK AROUND to be breached AGAIN! Matter of fact, she is pretty much sitting on Baby "A's" head, so they are already fighting and not even here yet. (In past ultrasounds, Baby "B's" bootie has been right in Baby "A's" face, such sisterly love I tell you)Of course, we have been told that we may have a "stubborn" child on our hands. Well, both children are products of Dan and me, so they both will be stubborn, one may be a little more than the other?!?!? I have also been told that Baby "B" may be the Auburn fan since she is acting the way she is?!?! (Let's hope that isn't true)

As far as an update on me, I am officially done with work. I was only working half days and that had seemed to be working, but my blood pressure was high at yesterday's appointment, so the Dr said no more work. I thought it might be fun to get to lay around all day and do nothing, but I have been bored out of my mind today! lol And my fear is that this is only going to make things go by slower! Hopefully not. The Dr has been checking me, but of course NO CHANGE! I go back Friday to just check my blood pressure and to see if there is any protein in my urine, because the swelling in the feet and hands has had it's moments lately. If everything is ok there, then I go back Monday for another check up. So pretty much, the Dr says, its a day by day thing right now! He wants to see if maybe they will come on their own first, if nothing has happened by May 26, then we will discuss the options of possibly inducing?!?

Just keep us all in your prayers, because every time I call a grandparent they get nervous! Dan and me, we are the people that are nervous! I think the closer it gets, the more scared we get about becoming parents! I know we will be fine, but it is going to be a whole new world for us in our little "house divided".

Congrats!!!!

I have to give a big CONGRATS to one of my very good friends, Katy and her husband Derek! They have found out they are expecting in December!!! I am soooo excited for you both and can't wait to meet the Lil Wallace! :) Please keep them all in your prayers!!

Dr. Update

We went to the Dr on Friday, and I know now why I feel like I can't breathe and why it feels like there is a 15 pound watermelon in me! lol Baby "A" is weighing 5lbs and Baby "B" is weighing 5lbs 13oz!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I know that sometimes that is not always correct, but I don't see where it can be far off! Both heartbeats were strong as well. My blood pressure was 120/80 which I say comes from the half days I am working now, I can really tell a difference in not being as tired as I was. We go back again this Friday and Dr. Madden is going to start checking me! Soooo just say a prayer that everything continues to go well. I am ready for them to be here, but I don't want them coming too early!!

Also, mom and Eli are now our neighbors in the big "metro" area of Bankston. Jim hauled mom's car from Texas Friday, so now Eli and her are getting settled in. It is weird knowing she is just right next door now! We are slowly trying to get things together. I guess we need to get hospital bags packed next?!? lol

Diaper Shower

On April 11, a bunch of my close friends got together and hosted a diaper shower for me. It was soo much fun and the food was WONDERFUL. They had the shower at Horizons in Fayette. If you have ever eaten there, you know how good the food is, and if you haven't eaten there, then you are missing out! I was soo happy to see everyone that came, and somewhat had a small class reunion with about 6 of my very good high school friends. Aubrey and Lainey are going to be soo spoiled when they get here, its crazy! However, I am soo thankful for the wonderful friends that God has blessed me with and so glad they will be apart of my girls' lives!

Updates

Thanks to "Blackout 2009" last week, I wasn't able to update everyone on things happening at the Deavours' household. I did get to post about our Anniversary, we did enjoy our cake from a year ago and it was still just as good as the first time we had it! We also celebrated Easter with Ms. Wanda's family ( sorry for no pictures, my camera was STILL in the shop) We enjoyed a wonderful Easter lunch, and an Easter egg hunt afterwards. We are soo excited next year Aubrey and Lainey will get to participate in the fun! I just hope their Daddy doesn't act crazy knocking people over to get prize eggs for them! I have seen it happen before!

The next big event in April was Dan's Birthday on Monday, April 13. Due to the blackout, we enjoyed a family steak supper at Ms. Wanda's by candle light. It was a first for all of us I believe! Of course Hudson couldn't figure out why we didn't have the lights on and there was NO TV! lol Danni Kate was very amazed at all the candles, she was too cute!

Dan did get something he had been eyeing for a long time with his Birthday money, a Wii, and what little bit we have played on it, lol he doesn't like that his wife is giving him a little competition! We have enjoyed it though, I am sure the girls are wondering what all the fuss is about! lol

The last update is my Dr's visit on Friday. The Dr wants to start seeing me once a week now. He has told us from day one that most twins are born between 35-37 weeks( which today I'm 32 weeks) My blood pressure was a little elevated so he wants to keep a better watch on it, I have been checking it twice a day since Friday and it has went down a very good bit, which is good. My feet have started swelling more and more, so he just wants to keep a watch on me a little more. He says I'm doing fine, but I'm glad he is wanting to keep a closer check. The girls' heartbeats were strong once again, so that was good news to hear. He thinks maybe 3- 4 more weeks. So maybe we will know more at this week's visit. Please just continue to keep all of us in your prayers!

Update

I went to the Dr on Friday, first I had to retake my sugar test because my first time around I missed passing it by ONE POINT! However, my Dr was nice enough to let me take the 2 hour fasting test and I PASSED!!! So no three hour test thank goodness!

We also got to have another ultrasound done, within a month, those girls have GROWN! I think last time they were measured, one baby was weighing 1 lb 8oz and the other 1lb 9 oz. WELL within little over a month's time, Friday they were measured weighing, 3lbs 8oz and 3 lbs 11oz!!!! Thank you Lord for growing babies!!!! Dr. Madden said they were doing great! That has been a big fear that one baby might get more than the other, but they are already sharing at an early age! :)

I start now going every 2 weeks until I am at week 34, which is the first week in May, then go every week. It is crazy how fast it has gone by! Still not sure on exactly when they will make their grand entrance. I am praying that they hold out to the last week of May which will put me in week 37, Dr says that is normal delivery time for twins. The only thing we are really watching, one baby is in the breached position, so depending on if that baby turns or stays breached, depends on a C-Section or not. Besides that, everything is good, Dr said I am doing very well myself! :)

We were only able to get a 4-D shot of one baby girl, the other baby girl was being shy and covering her face! Dan and I really can't decide if we can even tell who she looks like, mom did say she looked like she had my forehead?!? However, it does look like she has some hair on her head!
They are also getting bigger that it is hard to see both of them clearly in a picture compared to seeing them together back in January together!

Our "shy" baby girl

Our "laid back" baby girl, she had her head laid back in every picture just taking it easy!
